LetsJobify ("we", "our", or "us") operates the website at letsjobify.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the service, how we use it, and what rights you have with respect to your data.

When you use LetsJobify to search for jobs, you provide:

  • Job preferences — your preferred location type (remote, onsite, hybrid), sector, skills, and optional minimum salary. This information is used only to run your job search query and is not stored persistently after the session ends.
  • Contact information — if you email us or contact us via WhatsApp, we receive your name, email address or phone number, and the content of your message. We use this only to respond to your enquiry.

2.2 Information collected automatically

When you visit letsjobify.com, our web server and third-party services may automatically collect:

  • Your IP address and approximate geographic location (country/city level)
  • Browser type, version, and operating system
  • Pages visited, time spent, and referring URL
  • Device type and screen resolution

This data is collected through standard server logs and, where applicable, through Google Analytics (if enabled). It is used in aggregate to understand how the service is used and to identify and fix technical problems.

3. How we use your information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • To provide the service — your job preferences are used to query external job boards and filter results. This processing is necessary to deliver the service you requested.
  • To generate and serve your download file — the Excel file containing your matched job listings is temporarily stored on our server to allow you to download it. This file is automatically deleted after a short period (typically one hour).
  • To improve the service — aggregate usage data helps us understand which features are used, identify errors, and make the service more reliable.
  • To communicate with you — if you contact us, we use your contact information to respond.
  • To comply with legal obligations — we retain server logs for a limited period to help investigate abuse and comply with applicable law.

We do not use your information for advertising profiling, and we do not sell your data to any third party.

4. Third-party services

LetsJobify integrates with external job boards to fetch listings. When you perform a search, our server makes requests to these platforms on your behalf. Your personal information is not sent to these platforms — only a search query is made from our server.

Google AdSense

LetsJobify displays advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google's ad settings page.

5. Cookies

LetsJobify uses minimal cookies. We may set a session cookie to maintain state during your visit. Google AdSense sets its own cookies for ad serving purposes.

6. Data retention

Job preferences: Used during your session to run the search query. Not stored persistently.

Generated Excel files: Stored temporarily on our server (typically one hour) to allow you to download the file. Automatically deleted after expiry.

Server logs: Retained for a limited period (typically 30 days) for security and debugging purposes, then deleted.

Contact messages: Retained for as long as necessary to respond and resolve any ongoing enquiry.

7. Data security

We implement reasonable technical measures to protect the information processed by LetsJobify. These include HTTPS encryption for all data in transit, restricted access to server infrastructure, and regular security reviews.

No method of internet transmission is completely secure. While we take reasonable precautions, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights with respect to your personal data:

  • Access — the right to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Correction — the right to request correction of inaccurate data
  • Deletion — the right to request deletion of your data, subject to legal retention requirements
  • Restriction — the right to request that we restrict processing of your data in certain circumstances

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will make a reasonable effort to notify users. Continued use of the service after a policy change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
